Service area FAQ

Question 1

Which counties do you serve?

Accepted Answer

Logan, Morgan, Sedgwick, Washington, Phillips and eastern Weld counties in Northeast Colorado. We are based in Atwood, in Logan County.

Question 2

Do you come out to farms and ranches outside town?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Most of our work is out on farms, ranches and rural home sites, not in town. Tell us where the well is and we will plan the trip.

Question 3

Do well permit rules differ across the region?

Accepted Answer

They can. Parts of Colorado's eastern plains sit in Designated Groundwater Basins, where water comes mostly from groundwater. There, small domestic and livestock wells are permitted by the State Engineer, while large-capacity wells go through the Colorado Ground Water Commission, and some aquifers are closed to new large-capacity permits.

Question 4

I am just outside these counties. Can you still help?

Accepted Answer

Often, yes. Call us or send a request with your location and choose Other for the county, and we will let you know whether we can make the trip.

Question 5

Are you licensed outside Colorado?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We hold water well construction and pump installation licenses in Colorado (#1574 and #1577), Nebraska (#101459) and Kansas (#1027).
